adding category posts to a page

Hello,

Is there a way to add posts just for a certain category to a page? I need to do this for several pages. I know there are category list plugins and have tried a few, but they dont seem to allow me to add social plugins for one specific post, they seem to work instead for the specific page. Where as if i had all posts on one page the regular way wordpress is set up to allow then social plugins work correctly… I need that, BUT separated into different categories. any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
