Extremely Slow Dashboard

I am experiencing an uncharacteristically slow wordpress site. I first noticed the decrease in page loading yesterday afternoon and is still slow today. It is taking a few minutes for any page to load from the dashboard instead of a few seconds like it usually does. In addition to the sluggish speed in the dashboard, my website is also running slowly. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? My site is currently under construction and I’m not sure if the speed issues are related to something I have done.
