Did you follow the steps to the “t”? Did you change the options in the general section accordingly?

The only thing i’m not sure about is step “4. Open up wp-config-sample.php and fill in your database details. Save and rename the file to wp-config.php.” I didn’t know what else to change there. My hosting provider did the set up so i didn’t know what else to change on that??? It was working before I did the directory change so i know he did everything right.

I think i just realized what i did wrong. Man do i feel stupid. I set both the blog AND the WP address to the root. Stoopid stoopid stoopid. Is there a way to fix this? obviously i can’t get into the admin interface to set it back…

Aha! After wrestling with my inherent dim-wittedness i came up with a solution. I copied all contents of the main WP directory to the root directory (temporarily). This allowed me to log in and fix my blunder. I then deleted everything i had copied over except for the index file. Now everything seems to be working swimingly!
