  • Hi ThorsDad,

I’m sorry you’re having a problem with the viewer in Chrome. I can say it’s not universal, because I’m running Chrome 13 as well and all the documents I look at are coming in fine. Not to dismiss the issue – but it may be something other than just being in Chrome. Are you using the standard or enhanced viewer option? Can you share the URL of a sample?

    Thanks.

I’m using the standard viewer which just displays a blank space in Chrome. When I enabled the Enhanced Viewer I got the viewer displayed with a blank document in it.

    Here is a sample page:

I believe this is a local issue of some kind, possibly from your internet cache. Perhaps emptying it out and restarting the browser will help? The document at the link you provided is appearing as expected for me in Chrome 13.

I’m glad to hear it is just me. I haven’t had any luck after clearing the cache but will continue “under the hood” and try to get Chrome working. Thanks for the great plug-in.

I would stop short of saying it is “just you” but only say that it “works for me” (typical computer technician response, haha). Issues with specific browsers do crop up intermittently as Google mucks with the code or browsers break it. The viewer has a personality and it can be quirky at times, quirks my plugin sadly must inherit. Hopefully you can resolve the issue on your end – FYI for comparison, I’m on Chrome “13.0.782.112 beta-m” on Windows 7 64-bit, and logged in to a Google account (which randomly matters sometimes).
