[Theme: Graphene] Urgent help needed: About sidebar

im using graphene theme! and in right sidebar of my site is archieves and meta option! i was wanting to remove them and put my ad( sky crapper) instead of them! i searched in google and then i put my code in sidebar.php , i put my ad code be <li tags! but still meta and archieves are not removed! my ad shows but it shows below meta and archieves! i want to remove completey those meta and achieves! i even look in widgets but there is no option to remove their! Please hep me do so!!!

note: when i put my sky crapper ad code in sidebar.php between <li tags! almost half of meta was gone, i.e sign in/signout and wordpress option is gone but still boxes with meta and achieve are present! as i tod i want to remove them completely! so help me plz!!!
