• I am unable to use the “preview” feature on the “write post” page. When I go to preview at the bottom of the page I see my blog’s template but instead of my content I see the error “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” The only way the preview works is if the entry has been published. Interestingly, publishing into the future doesn’t work; it has to actually be live for the preview to work. Suggestions?

Anyone? Nobody having this problem at all? I am having it and another friend is having it. Both of us are hosting on OS X. Maybe it’s something particular to our environment?

Just totally grasping at straws… what browser are you and your friend using?

Mostly I use Safari 2 but sometimes I use Firefox 1.5. Preview doesn’t work in either one.

Was there ever an answer for this question (apparently not) because I have the same problem. Preview is not available until after I publish the page and then go to manage and click edit. Kind of makes the whole preview concept worthless if I have to publish before I can preview.

Hello Jim. I had the same problem. The preview wasn’t working in firefox and not in opera.
I found the solution in http://wordpress.org/support/topic/54095
Maybe it could help you too.

I only had to remove the “www” of my blog adress and of my wordpress adress. I changed the options from http://www.generation-lt.info/blog
to http://generation-lt.info/blog and now it’s working fine.

FrankLT is absolutely correct. Check your options in WordPress when you log-in. Make sure that your blog address and wordpress address have the start to the URL. If you have “www” at the front of one, make sure the other has it, too. I fixed this and my program is fixed! Thanks for the post FrankLT!
