• Have installed the plugin PhotoPress and all seems ok…until I go to add a photo when I get the following dialog box:
    =========================================================

    Warning: dl(): Unable to load dynamic library ‘./gd.so’ – ./gd.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in /home/visual24/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/photopress/popup.php on line 283

    The GD module is not installed
    It appears that you do not have the GD module for PHP installed. This module is required in order to resize images.
    ===========================================================

    Contacted my host and they tell me that GD is already installed on the server. Yet I still get the above error??

    Is there a way which I can prove that it is or is not loaded? When I go into my cpanel there is an option to see all modules loaded, and I see GD listed (actuall a whole bunch of various GD modules… but not the one mentioned in the dialog box GD.so ?)

    Anybody have any ideas or suggestions??

    thanks!!

    Bob
