deleted out wp-config in error and cannot access site

I have access to the cpanel and phpmyadmin aqnd I’m recreating the wp-config.php file. The password for admin does not work. I installed wordpress with fantastico. Is there a way of backtracking and finding the password that would have been in the wp-config file. I keep reading about using privileges but cannot see a button with that on myphpadmin.

Your advice would be appreciated.
