Ok, found the sticky topic about publishing your own theme. So far, so good. Looks like all I need to do is debug it?
Your feedback is very welcome anyway (especially about IE on a PC).
Theme license? Themes that are not clearly licensed as GPL cannot be promoted on these forums.

Is there a short way to get one? Is it that I should mention the license or get the theme certified to get one? I used a ‘naked’ theme to build this one.
You don’t “get” a GPL license. You simply release it under that license.

Thanks esmi. I’ve put the license in the stylesheet.
I’d love to direct you to a good theme, but I’m not sure if I am allowed to do that on this forum.
Plus, you get step-by-step video tutorials all the way through the set up process.
If someone knows about leaving links to other themes on here, please let me know. I don’t want to break the rules.

Thank you for your reply Drew. I’m not not sure that I understand you right. Are you talking about installing a theme or about how to make it ready for sharing it with wordpress.org?
