• I believe the behavior changed after I upgraded to WP ver 2.0 (I am now on 2.0.1).

I have set WP to email me a copy of the comments whenever I received one. In previous versions of WP, when I receive the email, the sender of the email is the person who left the comment. After I upgraded to 2.0 the sender defaults to my blogname.

I have searched through the options and could not find the place where I can change this behavior. Can someone enlighten me?

    Thanks!

    OK, no takers?

Perhaps I will turn this in the form of a question:

“Is there a setting or perhaps a plugin available that will allow me to have new comments from my sent to my email address box that will have the author of the comments as the sender, so that I can hit reply and reply directly to the author of the comments from my email program?”

Actually this was how my blog used to work, but it no longer does. I suspect, as I said this changed after the version upgrade. But I am not so worried about the version as I am about the feature. Is there a way to get that feature back, either through a hack or through a plugin? Thanks for any suggestions!

Am I the only person who seem to have this problem? Does anyone even know what I am talking about? How do you deal with the e-mail notifications you receive right now from your blog? Are they correctly identified as from the person who submitted the comment or do you see these emails in your in-box as if they were sent from (by) your blog?
