[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Does contact form 7 use PHPMail function?

    My hosting provider is disabling the PHPMail function shortly due to spam abuse.

    I’ve tried searching through the various php scripts that make up contact form 7 to see if it’s used but didn’t spot it. I may have missed it as there’s a lot of code to wade through so I thought I’d check here.

    Will the lack of PHPMail effect the way contact form 7 works?
