.htaccess – Ignore sub directory

    Try adding an .htaccess file to the tradingeye/ folder that turns off rewriting.

    Thanks esmi. It was actually something even simpler. Add RewriteBase /tradingeye/ to ensure it actually went to TradingEye. I wrongly assumed this would do this on installation of Trading Eye. It is a good piece of software – do you reckon Rich might want a look to see if there are any ideas for eshop?

    We know Trading Eye very well 🙂 I even audited/reviewed it before it was released some years ago.

    They used to have it on the site. It probably got lost in one of the site re-design’s. 🙁

    At the time I looked at it (pre release and over the next few versions), it was the most solid, accessible, semantic, ecommerce application out there. Pretty easy to re-skin too using pure CSS. I still recommend it to anyone who needs a dedicated ecommerce site. The company that developed it (DpiVision) also have a long track record in creating ecommerce and auction applications.
