• Dear Word Press Volunteers,

I am trying to learn how to use my Word Press Blog. I had someone else set it up for me, but I’d like to figure out how to make small changes. My question is, on the “links” page (which you get to from the dashboard) there are listed 8 links, including alexking.org; photomatt.net; boren.nu; and others. What are these? They don’t show up on my blog — I didn’t put them there. Thank you. The directions for posting say I must tell you my theme. As far as I can tell, my theme is trivium-pursuit.

  • Laurie:
Welcome to WordPress. Those links are there simply to let you know that you can put links there. Log in with an administrative password, go to your dashboard (you should be taken there when you log in) and click on the tab called “links.” The instructions there should be pretty self explanatory. You can delete some or all of the links, and even add your own (or not). These links are simply links to similar sites, sites of interest, friends, family, anything that you wan them to be!

The links are default and are the guys who wrote the code.
You can delete them, add new or leave – your choice 🙂
