I’m having one more problem. I have a network installed. I put three sites behind password using your plugin.

Now, a person that has an account on one of my sites (not one of those hidden by password) can see two of them when logged in. That’s an unwanted behaviour.

To give you an example. The whole network is installed at xxx.com (I hid the main site xxx.com behind password)

    It has subdomains:
    – tiger.xxx.com (also hidden behind password)
    – lion.xxx.com (not hidden, it’s the domain where user Cat is an editor)
    – and a subdomain yyy.xxx.com which runs on its own domain yyy.com (also hidden behind password)

When Cat logs in with his lion.xxx.com login and password he can also access xxx.com and tiger.xxx.com, even though they should stay hidden from him. He doesn’t have a user account there.

He can’t access yyy.com though which runs on its own domain.

Any ideas how to prevent him from going to places he shouldn’t see?

Yes, WP netwok _is_ a single installation of WordPress.

Are you using WPMU or seperate installations of WP?

Yes, WPMU, only that now it’s called WP Network. Sorry for the confusion. I didn’t make those names. 😉

Aren’t WP Network users all stored in the same section of the WP SQL?
So if a users is a member of 1, aren’t they a member of all of them?

I am sorry, I don’t work with WP Network so I do not know how is works.

Yes, they are. But does it have to mean they have to have access everywhere? WordPress.com for example has the possibility to turn off one’s blog from public view, and other wordpress.com users won’t be able to see it.

I think so, I really do not know much about WP Network so can’t help you much.
It’s wha I was always lead to believe.
