    Hi,

Is it possible to set a Custom Link as a page’s Parent in the Pages section? If I look in the Page Attributes’ Parent dropdown, I only see pages listed– none of my Custom Links are there.

In Appearance–>Menus it’s possible to set a Custom Link as a page’s parent. You can give the Custom Link a # as a URL, add it to the menu, and then drag a page under it as the child.

I would do it this way, but I’m using the Gecka Submenu plugin that automatically adds all of a page’s children as menu items. The problem is that I end up with very long dropdown menus. So I’d like to make Custom Links labelled “A-L” and “M-Z” and then set each page’s parent to be a Custom Link. If I have to drag each page in underneath the appropriate Custom Link in Appearance–>Menu, it defeats the point of using the plugin.

Any advice or suggestions on how to achieve my goal? Thank you.
