would need more info I suspect
it should be working correctly if you have access to mail via php I would assume
I don’t recall an option or setting to configure it
for example, see this:

bestfoot,
The problem is that I am not recieving any emails when there is a comment made to radiostatic.am. As well, after playing with the site i discovered that the lost password email only works if the user has an email at the radiostatic.am domain. For example, i setup a test user with an email (under the profile options) at exios.com and the password email was not sent. However, it was sent when that user had an email at radiostatic.am. Nonetheless, this does not explain why i am not recieving emails to moderate the comments when someone writes a comment.
I’m on a shared hosting plan with realwebhost.net with the server running the following:
Operating system Linux
Service Status Click to View
Kernel version 2.4.21-32.0.1.ELsmp
Machine Type i686
Apache version 1.3.34 (Unix)
PERL version 5.8.0
Path to PERL /usr/bin/perl
Path to sendmail /usr/sbin/sendmail
Installed Perl Modules Click to View
PHP version 4.4.1
MySQL version 4.0.25-standard
cPanel Build 10.8.1-EDGE 159
Theme cPanel X v2.5.0
Sounds like your host may be set up to have smtp relaying set up for mail that would go outside your domain. You should check their documentation or contact their tech support and ask what domain/ip address and port you should use to send mail out of their domain and update your php.ini mail settings to reflect that. Hopefully that should help!
