• I set up a new blog the other day and everything was working fine. All of the sudden the text became underlined everywhere on the homepage. If I changed the date on the posts to February, they lost the underline.

However, what do I do about the sidebar text? I’m not sure what file I should be working on to fix it, nor what to do when in the right file.

  • You might want to try validating your HTML. Notice how the last post has a “link” that’s underlined but isn’t actually working as a link? You have some extraneous tags in that post, and also in your sidebar.

Thanks Jabecker, I’ll see if cleaning that up effects the sidebar.

I hate not seeing the html code in the area where I write the copy it makes it much harder for me to control.

Turn off the wysiwyg editor then. Go to the Users section in the admin section and uncheck the box.

That’ll give you a bit more control of the (x)html tags
