Deleted old databases in MAMP, created new one, now get error message

    Hello,

    I am a web developer who is new to WordPress. I recently installed it successfully and have been working with it fine, but in my trial-and error, I created too many databases (as I”m learning), so I deleted (“dropped”) the old databases and created a new one in MAMP. Now, when I try to connect to the WP dashboard, it seems to be still trying to access the old database that I deleted.

    Any clue how I can get the database to connect to the correct folder in my htdocs folder?
