so i thought i’d start a new one and ask, when you upgrade from b2 to wordpress, do you point wp-config.php to your old b2 database? the readme says to do a normal install first, but you can’t do that if you already have a db installed. it says do a normal install, following the directions in the readme, and then run import-b2.php, but that doesn’t work. i’m thinking maybe i should just upload all the wordpress files, point wp-config at my b2 db, and run import-b2, skipping the install script altogether. but i’d like to get someone to confirm it before i do. am i missing something? tia.

  • Update to 1.0.2 first, then to 1.2. You can use the “update.php” scripts in this manner.
As always be sure to backup your database first.
Yes, in your wp-config.php file you can point to your b2 database files. You need to run wp-admin/update.php for it to work.

    Hi,
Padre could you tell me if it worked, because I am in the same case as you.
If you managed to update it successfully could you please advise the way you did it ?
    Thanks !
