   Does anyone know how i can upload images to a folder outside the document root ?

   This is a security feature, i would like to aliase the wp-content directory, but upload my docs to a folder outside the root directory. How can i configure wordpress to recognise the directory outside the root. The current options in version 2.1 dont allow this.

   If you're using the latest nightly go to:
   http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/options-misc.php

   I had the same problem.

   Oh wait, that's still inside the WP dir. I guess my problem isn't fixed.

   Thanks for the reply. I have installed that, but i would like to use the built in file uploader. Does anyonw know which hack i can use to get what i want done ?
