Hidden Feature?

Is there a feature that allows higher users to hide stuff? For example, I write a post, but want to make it hidden (I know there is a private option, but I want it accessible only to me) with a check box.

Same goes for documents, pictures, etc.

This way, I will never have to reupload a document or retype anything that I use year to year. Select a box that makes things hidden/visible.

Anything?
