It does only show on single posts/pages and only if you are not logged in. Please read question U29 of the FAQ to understand why and for how to change that.
so you mean it won’t appear on widgets?
i tried it, it shows up, but it doesn’t login on my wordpress account and doesn’t reload the site.. it only logs in to facebook.. need help pls.. thanks in advance..
Assuming you setup the registration form and login button as described in question U29 of the FAQ: did you register using the Facebook registration form before trying to sign in? It may help if you send me the debug information. See the last question in the FAQ for how to.
I’m using before Simple Facebook connect plugin, but when I tried deactivating SFC and activating add link to facebook, the button doesn’t appear anymore..
Did you follow the steps of question U29 already?
Please note that after logging in you will be redirected to the page where you came from (unless you had set another page using the plugin options).

Nice it works now. I don’t know how a Facebook avatar can be displayed, but you can display an avatar with the information in the FAQ (question U29).

If you are willing to go on a little adventure:
- Go to the plugin settings page (WordPress menu > Tools > Add Link to Facebook)
- Click ‘Debug information’ in the right panel
- Scroll down, tick ‘Debug’ and press ‘Save’
- Go here
- Go to your WordPress profile and enter the Facebook ID
Don’t forget to turn off debugging when you are done, because this can slow down your site.
If you download the development version in about half an hour, you can enter your Facebook ID without enabling debug mode.

There is no documented way of logging out from Facebook, so I cannot make this, sorry.
