• When I installed 3.2 all of my widgets went down to the very bottom of the page and post number two was in the sidebar. I have tried so many themes thinking it was the theme that had the issue and they were all either the same or it didnt show the post but still put the widgets underneath everything.

I have had to change the settings to that there is only one post per page which is a pain in the arse. If i put it to show more than one post its all over the place!

  • have you tried to check the validity of the html code: http://validator.w3.org/
this often gives you a clue what is wrong.

your problem sounds as if you have an unbalanced amount of opening/closing divs in the loop – compensated by another wrong html tag in the other part of the template/web page.

link to your site? (with the problem showing)

i have set it up so the problem is there

    http://spudandspike.co.uk/

see how post two starts in the side bar and finishes under post 1 and my widgets are at the bottom??

    that validation thing says

    41 Errors, 6 warning(s)

how do i go about fixing them?!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
