Install.php file still showing after install complete

I’ve completed a fresh install of wordpress 3.2 and once the installation has completed it’s still redirecting to the install.php file when I try and hit the index.php file.

I’m able to login to the wp-admin fine and when I try and preview any of the sample posts or pages they work just fine too.

This is just a fresh install of version 3.2 with nothing else added so I’m a little perplexed as I’ve installed previous versions of WordPress with no trouble at all in the past. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated 🙂
