home page slug

i would like to change the name that shows up in the TAB of the browser for my home page. (in this case firefox). All of my other pages and posts let me edit the permalink except the home page. As an example:
i have a page called campaigns.
the permalink for this page is:
http://www.mypage.com/campaigns. On the tab in my browser, the title on the tab is simply campaigns.
THIS IS WHAT I WANT THE HOME PAGE TO DO.

but for the home page: the permalink is simply: http://www.mypage.com and I cannot edit it and the title that shows up in the browser tab is also http://www.mypage.com, which is messy and awkward.
I would like the title to be mypage or at the very least home.
Any help would be appreciated.
