Developing website for others

    I am new to WordPress. I am using this because i wanted a way to develop websites and let my clients manage the content on their own. My question is: Do I need to install WordPress on each of my clients webserver to develop a websites or do I, the developer only need WordPress? How does that work?

    I think (im new too), that you need it installed on the server only, then you can log into your control panel to add, update, delete content etc.

    You need to install WordPress on each of your clients’ web servers. However, you can carry out a great deal of the development work on your own server and transfer the theme etc to your clients.
