   I've recently tried my first password-protecting post. But the protection doesn't seem to be working. I've specified the password but on my blog, when you enter it and click "Submit", it just refreshes the screen without displaying the post.

   It also seems that while the prompt for a password is visible on the main blog page, you can circumvent it by clicking on the Category.

   Any ideas how to fix this?

   resolved! for me it was the gengo plugin. Has been updated now and it all works

   Do you mean that the password protection does not work without the Gengo plugin?

   My users who read with Safari have this problem, but Windows users have no problem.
