• Plugging along and filing post after post, I haven’t been viewing the page, just using my editor. Some of the stuff was “cut-and-pasted” from other sources, and had some formatting code in it (which I have since removed). But I logged on recently and realized that my right-side menu system wasn’t where it was supposed to be. Half of the front-page posts are “full-screen” and have pushed the menus to the bottom of the screen. I am running the Twenty-Ten 1.2 theme.
When I go to the Posts section, and view each one individually, they appear correctly with the menus, but when I launch the Web page, these posts are “hogging” the screen. As I stated, I have removed all formatting (with the exception of link code) to no avail.

What can I do to repair this problem? The URL is http://www.theampat.com/wp_blog/

  • It looks like your “Is This Really America?” post is causing the problem. Go to this post in the editor and view it in the HTML editor. Look for a closing div tag (or some other tag) that wasn’t opened previously in the content.

Bingo! It was a non-breaking space (&nbsp) that looks like it crept in when I deleted a video. Thanks! I can usually catch these things, but my 64-year-old mind skips occasionally.

    Need serious help!

I lost all my formatting. It’s horrible. Hours and hours.
I incorporated a photo into the ftp uploaded and it completely changed the whole format. Took out all the color and displaced alot of things. This is a work project with a deadline and i’m trying not to cry.
