Can anyone do me an install?

    Hi folks,

    I do not yet have a WordPress site, but do have one running e107 which integrates with genealogy site software.

    I am wanting to move to WordPress and am looking for someone who can do the install for me. If you are able to help, then I have all my server access details and some instructions for the integration which I am told work well, though I would struggle to understand exactly what they are saying.

    Yes sure I can help you out but honestly the best thing for you will be me guiding you while YOU do the installation, this way you don’t have to give me any details such as usernames and passwords AND you will learn.

    Thank you for the kind offer.

    My reason for asking that someone do the install is that my existing site is live (using e107) and I need to see it moved over with a minimum of disruption to visitors. The integration of the CMS and the other components makes the installation a little more challenging than a normal WordPress site, and I don’t want to crash everything and not be able to get the site back up again in reasonable time.

    I’d like to work alongside an ‘expert’ once the site is live with regard to extending the WordPress theme through the other elements of the site, and this will be my oportunity to learn without risking disruption to the site users.
