Support » Plugins » "Like"-Function for non-WP/BP-content

  • Hi

I have e PHP-site up and running that’s not built on WP/BP. I’m now adding a social-network in a subdirectory using BP. Works great so far, wonderful software.

Now, my main site is for finding specific places all over the world. What I would like to have is sort of a “like” function like on Facebook, which would have to do the following:

    -Only for BP-logged-in-users
-Adds a specific url (which points to my “place”) to the likes or favorites of the users
-Function to retrieve all “likes” with the same URL, to show who likes that “place”
-Function to retrieve all “likes” of a user, to show which “places” he likes

Of course I could hack it together in php, but I’d like to integrate it into BP as “native” as possible. Maybe it’s already possible using some kind of a favorite/like-plugin I didn’t find?

If someone can give me a perfect “out-of-the-box”-solution for this, I’m willing to pay for that (tbd) because I really need urgent help on that.

    Thanks
    Raphael
