Keyboard shortcuts not working in Mac Firefox with Firefox 5?

Hey y’all!

I constantly use keyboard shortcuts cntl-a to input links, cntl-b for bold etc with Firefox and WordPress. they never have seemed to work in safari or chrome, but they have in Firefox.

that is until I upgraded to Firefox 5 just the other day.

Funny thing, they work here, but not on my own site… (this discovery lead me to learn it won’t work on old posts – read below)

Yikes! Now (without closing the browser or this page) – I went to my own WordPress blog and now the shortcuts work – but here’s the key – after a little debugging, I’ve found they work on “new” WordPress blog posts but not when editing older posts…

is this a bug that others can duplicate?
