• How can I make it so that I can edit another author of equal level comments and posts? I used to be able to do this in WP 1.5 with some editting of code, but with the change to 2.0x I’m no longer sure how I can do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Probably want to check out Owen’s plugin Role Manager:

I already have that plugin installed, but it doesn’t let me do what I want. My 2 main contributors are both set to administrator, but when it comes to editting comments posted in the other author’s posts, it won’t let me do that. I did miss the editting of post part, so that’s taken care of. Now I just need to get it to let me edit comments in the other author’s posts.

I wrote an post as an administrator, logged out, comment on the post, logged in as a different administrator and was able to edit the comment.

Actually didn’t need the Role Manager Plugin either.

ah ok, heh I had the paged comment editing plugin that was preventing that from happening. I wonder how I can get it included in that plugin.
