Remove padding between menu and slideshow

I want to remove the padding between my main menu and the slideshow underneath. There is a small white gap right now. I’m using the Post Highlights plug in for the slide show thing. I dont if this is a matter of adjusting padding or adding/editing margins. I’m using Duster… This is my site- http://thisisatechblog.com/

Some info on the best or any method of doing this would be great. Im a beginner so please be as specific as possible if giving instructions involving code.
