• Hi everyone

I have been searching for a solution for hours now and I havn’t found anything – I hope there is a wordpress jedimaster who can help me.

I recently tried to install a new theme on my blog, but as I was uploading the theme it suddenly stoped and gave me the following error-message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/simon/public_html/wp-content/themes/13Floor/includes/widgets/widget-ads.php on line 114

    my blog http://www.simonsblogoflife.com

I have tried to locate the folder on my computer, but i don’t knoe what to look for, and the document can’t be edited.

    What am I to do?

    All the best
    Simon

    – BTW I’m a mac user if that means anything, and I have the newest WP update installed.

PS: I’m new to WP/websites and soforth, so I would appreciate a step-by-step manual.

Did you ever figure out a solution to this?

Are you still having this issue bmilne? The above error the user posted indicates an issue within a file of the theme that was being uploaded.

Are you trying to upload the 13Floor theme as well or another theme? Please provide a copy of the error you are receiving so that we can help narrow down the issue for you.
