• When I go to set featured image and select NextGen Gallery, I can select other users galleries and use their photos. Is there a way to prevent this from happening or even just disable it from showing up when setting the featured image?

This is less of an issue but is it also possible that when a user goes to manage gallery they only see their galleries, I realize they can’t access the other users galleries but there will be a large number of galleries eventually.

Thanks for looking & Thanks for the wonderful plug-in.

  • Thanks for pointing out , will look into it

I’m following up on the first post in this thread, second question.

We have over 300 contributors on our site, and a majority of them will be adding galleries going forward. However, I don’t want everyone to see other user’s galleries or the galleries we’ve set up to control sliders and other features throughout the site.

What’s worse is that contributors cannot easily find their galleries (they have to wade through the hundreds of galleries).

Are there any plans to offer the following:

    • For non-admins and editors, show galleries only for the current user under Manage Gallery. This is done for the upload page, so I assume it can also be done for the Manage Gallery page.
    • Search by gallery name under Manage Gallery. Currently search is by image name only.

    Thanks!
