• Hello
I want to create different directory on my website, for different languages . like site.com/french ,site.com/english

how should i proceed ? install wordpress in each directory ? i want them to use different database, because there will be a lot of information, and having it all in one database will make problems.
the current database is not new,it’s one year old, with over 30.000 posts already,so i guess multisite is not an option ?

    what do you recommend ?

    thanks for the support

You can still use MultiSite, which is what I would do, unless the data’s going to be exactly the same for all blogs.

no,the data will be different.there will be different posts .
i want to use Sub-directories for this, not subdomains.
that’s why i said multisite won’t be an option for me .
    i read here http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network
“You cannot choose Sub-directory Install in the following cases:
If your existing WordPress installation has been set up for more than a month, due to issues with existing permalinks”

so,is it possible in this case ? if not, what’s the solution ?

    thanks for the reply
