• I can toggle which image to include with post “thumbnail” or “original” — but either way it codes it via the height/widtch tags to be 96 pixels by 96 pixels (the original images I’m using are all square).

It is easy to fix by editing in html mode — but its a hassle and not everyone will want to do that.

    Is this a bug?

  • I’ve seen this topic a few times (just today) so I’d guess that yes, it is a bug. The search for the forums seems to be a bit out of whack (and that’s putting it mildly) so I actually can’t find the other threads to reference it here…

But if I’m reading right, it will be fixed in the next release. I know that doesn’t really help now, but that’s about the best anyone can offer most likely.

Thanks fruitfly. So I followed the link in your post, and it appears that there is a fix. Is this indeed the fix?

Since I haven’t changed the affected file at all (that I know of) should I just be able to replace the inline-uploading.php file with the text that is in the following link?

    http://trac.wordpress.org/file/trunk/wp-admin/inline-uploading.php?rev=3407

p.s. that open source development collaboration tool looks really cool.

Did you know you can easily change the size of the image once in the editor by putting your cursor on it and resizing it within tinymce?

Oh right. Thanks for the reminder. As long as the file is not the thumbnail file, that will work fine.
