    up!
It caches all pages, even the hp in mobile but not in the desktop version!

i disabled all plugins and still no index cached!

Under the settings for Page cache, “index.html” is probably included in “Never cache.” Delete the entry and deploy to test.

    no πŸ™
under “Never cache the following pages:” there’s only:
    wp-.*\.php
    index\.php

and also removing index it still doesn’t cache the index.
    what else could cause this?
    thnx

i don’t even see any debug line in the html source of index page which i can see in the other post pages.

    What is index.html?

Is that something generated by wordpress? I’m guessing that w3tc can only cache files generated via php through the system.

@mingwp: w3tc generates cache files of php pages of course and the output of this cache generation is a simple index.html page.

Still no solution to my problem!

    up.
I also tried a downgrade to the previous version of w3tc but still no success

I have same problem. Tried turn on twenty ten theme, turn off all plugins, but w3tc cache only pages and single page (not home page, category and archive).

I have the same problem too. I noticed it only after the upgrade.

    Where is the developer????

    I need an urgent solution

To solve the problem, I had to use Page Caching Disk (basic) instead of Enhanced

    same to me,, help please

what different between disk (basic) and disk (enhanced)

The developer version resolve this issue. So download and install it.

disc cache basic is based on php, disc cache enhanced is based on htaccess, therefore the last one is faster and uses less resource.

where to download dev version? and when will they fix this in stable version

    * today i try disk basic, but homepage still not cached, some other page also cached only 2 – 6 minutes randomly instead of 3600 second , i test in a new browser with no login

    for me, my problem resolved

    i go to UN-CHECK

Page Cache > Purge Policy >

Specify the pages and feeds to purge when posts are created, edited, or comments posted.

    1. Home page

now visitors can see cache on homepage

my site have new comment every 3-5 minute so maybe it cause to single post cache update frequency more than interval time (3600)

plugin should have an option for “when posts are created, edited, or comments posted. ” separately

    1. some blog have many comment but doesn’t have new post = cache update too often because comment

    2. some blog have less comment but more new post = cache update too often because new post

    if plugin have option

    1. Specify the pages and feeds to purge when when posts are created, edited.

    2. Specify the pages and feeds to purge when comments posted.

so people can choose that they want update cache when have a new post or new comment or both

i have many comment but i dont want cache page cleared too often but i also want cache cleared when i have edit post or make a new post

    separate post and comment
