wp installation cannot be completed

    when i tried to install wp blog to my domain this message came out.
    The installation can not be completed:

    – You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

    i don’t know what to do to resolve this.i don’t know what script is and what root directory is but i tried to solve it by deleting the domain and reinstall it a few times in the cpanel.i’ve also deleted the domain file in the file manager but i still couldn’t install wp blog.
    please help me solve this problem.

    Try asking your hosts for assistance with this one.

    If you using cpanel then your root is public_html and check if you have any other website script running in that folder

    thanx all for your concern..i’ve already contact hostgator and report the problem..within the next hour, they sent an email to saying that the problem is solved..so now i’d successfully install wp to my domain..
    i really appreciate all your advices..thanx
