  • Isn’t there a bridge to download from a Joomla site for using WordPress with Joomla?

If you’re planning on using the WP index.php file in Joomla over the Joomla index.php, there might be problems….and even leading you into extensive PHP overhauling.. I’m not sure about it, but there is bridges and or components that Joomla might have to mesh the two together..

You’d almost have to edit the WP index.php file with some Joomla index.php file call tags..so it’s not totally lost..

If you have Joomla installed, but want WP to be the primary site…I dunno then. The bridge should help ya get both meshed together, if you want WP to be the main software, then forget Joomla all together.. That’s what I was going to use originally…but, found WP ALOT BETTER AND EASIER TO USE!! Rather then JOOMLA!

I totally agree! I tried Joomla, but compared to WP it’s really awkward. Didni’t like it all so went back to WP, and never regretted it for a moment. I couldn’t see one advantage Joomla has over WP!

You could use the WP component for Joomla and move the menu item the component makes on first install to the first item in the main menu. That item is always the home page. Easy!
