[Plugin: wp-jquery-lightbox] Notice in WP

    The plugin does in a way work as in showing the images properly, but WP display the following notice:

    Notice: Use of undefined constant ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE – assumed ‘ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE’ in /Users/Jan/Sites/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-jquery-lightbox/wp-jquery-lightbox.php on line 71

    I’m not an expert on Java or PHP, but I guess this means that something is not right. Rigth?

    The plugin is great, but personally I would prefer not the fancy “animation”, that the box starting from the top in the browser window and slide downwards. I think simplicity is a great thing, more like the “original” plugin of Rupert Morris. Also it would be really great to have an option to choose “themes” like Rupert Morris did.

    Basically, what I was looking for in the wp-jquery-lightbox plugin, was a straight up ported jQuery version of Rupert Morris plugin.

    UPDATE!
    I’m kind of embarrassed ’cause as it turns out YOUR PLUGIN WORKS JUST FINE.

    What happened was that I tested it in a local server environment with WP/MAMP Pro, thus the notice from WP. Don’t know why this happened. My apologies for the mishap. Forget everything I wrote in the previous post.

    The WP jQuery Lightbox plugin rocks!

    Now, if I dare to ask, if you would be so kind, would you consider adding the “Lightbox appearance” theme option and a simpler animation behavior, as in lightbox-2/Rupert Morris? Just a wish list.

    Anyways, thanks for a great plugin.

    Thank you kindly for the update. I’ve already implemented additional safety measures to ensure the constant is defined and available though. 🙂

    The animations are not what I’d like them to be either. I only tell the window and image where to go and in what time to accomplish it. The order of those calls (position, width and height) *and* dimension changes between images (smaller, larger or same size) produce vastly different results – this is what you reffer to as “more complex” animations.

    I currently consider the animations accidental but workable. If you’re able to produce more consistent motion, please send me a patch!

    As for themes, that’s highly unlikely.
