Problem editing quicktags.js

    You are *of course* using the non-WYSIWYG editor in 2.0, correct? quicktags.js can only effect the plain or classic editor.

    Yup. I can’t stand the WYSIWYG editor.

    But I found my problem.

    Previously, I logged off my WP account and logged back in to no avail.

    I had to close my Firefox browser for the changes to propagate (is that the right word?).

    Wierd. But now that I understand the behavior, I can experiment some more! 🙂

    (I have not updated this topic to resolved in case someone can explain why logging off WP and logging back on didn’t work but only closing the browser and reloading it worked)

    its related to refreshing your cache — thats all. logging on/off doesn’t accomplish that; typically you need a hard reload (ctrl-r) or a browser restart.
