Updated to display video information (rating, description etc.)
Thanks for that!
Send me an email when you have your gallery up, I'd be interested to see how people are using the plugin.
Updated to allow displaying a, "favorites" gallery.

I think this would be an easier plugin to use if it had just the tiniest bit of instructions.
Instructions are in the FAQ

Ah okay. Thanks. It doesn't work with the wp-views plugin installed, but still pretty cool. Appreciate it.
What kinda plugin is that ? I've never heard of it and a quick google doesn't return anything.
i'm really excited about this plugin.
however none of the buttons show up when i edit posts. (normal, or rich text editor)
i manually insert a <!--yt_gallery--> and the gallery works, but it isnt pulling thumbnails for me.

also, is there anyway to pull videos from a youtube playlist? or do they all have to be my own?
hmm no download link for this. I have searched your site and cant find it
i tried it out, but had some dificulty perhaps including the instuctions in the download
Are there any installation instructions around for this plugin?
I looked at http://rane.hasitsown.com/blog/plink/technical/27/wordpress-youtube-video-gallery-plugin/#more-27 and found only code to modify the CSS.
The downloaded files has no readme. The plugin archive contains two folders 'mytube' and 'rane'. I uploaded both of them as is (by placing them under 'mytube' directory) to my plugins directory on the site and went to plugins admin section but don't see it listed.

but i want to display my favorites, and am having trouble with that.
Interesting plugin, yao. ;)
Hi guys.
The plugin archive contains two folders 'mytube' and 'rane'. and there are both empty.
Please can anyone send me a good copy?.
Thanks :) Kathy.
Same for me. Can anyone send me a good copy too please!
Thanks
Pol
I got sick of waiting for a copy of mytube.zip that wasn't empty, so I went ahead and wrote my own replacement called TubePress.
Enjoy!
Any change to use lightbox woth this? So you click a video from your gallery and then lightbox shows the tube video?
Thx
Thanks 'k2eric' for TubePress, your plugin is working a treat (I have been having problems with MyTube doesn't work with godaddy hosting, not sure why), however do you or anyone know how to solve the problem of when clicking on the thumbnails the page skips to the top of the screen, i know that this has something to do with null links or something.
Also is it possible to have more than 10 thumbnails in one gallery (in youtube there are multiple pages), or have an option to post different playlists, at present as a workaround I am thinking of creating multiple you tube accounts which is not ideal.
I am using TubePress on www.retailhell.co.uk
Any thoughts anyone?
We'd be VERY interested in seperate category listings for this plugin. I can see us adding several different category videos to the site.
YouTube has changed the behavior of their API since the initial writing of TubePress; they now only show the latest 10 videos added to your favorites.
Unfortunately, their API also doesn't have any playlist support. So multiple pages with a different playlist on each page is not yet an option. If/when they do give out a playlist API hook, you can be sure that I'll put it into the plugin.
I also had an email exchange on this topic with the YouTube dev team. View the details here.
@hyperstream, could you please be more specific regarding your problem of the plugin's links skipping to the top of the screen?
