This last update isn’t the very last update I’ll do to this plugin so please have patience. Was a pretty intricate job making the jump from single slider to multiple sliders and I had to do it in the little spare time I had. Please have patience, future updates will incorporate these features but unfortunately I can’t dedicate as much time as I want to it (I also have to earn my living). Hope you can understand the situation.

One favor I need to ask you: please detail a bit no. 1, I’m not sure I fully get it.

😉 yes I understand and I fully appreciate the afford cause It look great and with a little more 1/2/3 it would be the best 😉
I didnt mean it in a bad way 🙂 I was just too excited about the plugin and then too sad that no everything works yet 🙂 but for sure I will w8.

1.(more) out there is plugin to assign a category to a page.
then in one slider I want to display page1, post1, post2
your plugin does in one slider only pages or only posts as I understood it

    4. you can make a thick box inside the backend so on each post or page under publish is a box > thick to be featured or to make a dropdown list with all available sliders so you can choose where to add the new published content

    – plus – maintain is easy as an admin you just click edit post or page and unthick it from appropriate slider and its done.

    3. 🙂 the shortcode is crucial cause I need it to add it into a page and dont wanna play with templates .. I am w8 for this one most 🙂

but all in all your plugin looks great !!!!!
    thx for it

🙂 You got the shortcodes (v. 2.3.4). The other updates (+ whatever comes into my mind as useful) will be available at a later time. I want to first solve all bugs left (if any) reported by users so that we reach a stable version bug-free.

About your no.4, that’s already available. When you edit/create a post or a page, into the right sidebar you should see a meta box where you can set a custom thumbnail to be displayed by the slider for that particular post, add the post as featured into a certain slider (to display featured posts you must set the slider settings under Display order to be Featured posts) and starting with version 2.3.4, insert the shortcode for a certain slider.

I want to report a problem also, whenever you insert FA lite into a page or post the slide does not work anymore.

I know I’m kinda late, but have you managed to solve the problem? If the issue still continues, it would be best if you post on the plugin forum page here, you’ll get answers a lot faster since reports on codeflavors are monitored (almost) daily.

Does anybody know what the shortcode is? I’ve looked all around and can’t find a shortcode. Not on the installation instructions, not on the website, nowhere. I guess some people instinctively know what it is but can anyone tell me? I can figure out the ID number but what comes before it? [FA Lite ID} doesn’t work.

Maybe I’m new to all this. I’ve only been using WordPress for about 3 years.

You have a point, neither docs or the way you can include shortcodes is very intuitive. Here’s the shortcode:

    [FA_Lite id=”SLIDESHOW ID HERE”]

We’ll try and find a better solution for this, thank you for the suggestion.
