   Hi, just sharing my experience-

   1. For last 3-4 months, unique visitors to my website per day were around 70. After 17 jan, it has dropped to 3-5

   2. Google, MSN etc robots virtually 'sit' on the website, mysteriously they stopped crawling from 17 jan

   3. If I post a new entry, I can see it, but nobody else can. I created new categories, posts, tested new permalinks, added comments etc. but when i check from other computers, it does not show any updates.

   4. comments etc posted get lost and the whole site sortof resets to 17 jan.

   Is this because
   A. I upgraded to WP2 on the same day (and either I goofed up or WP2)
   B. I tried automatic site backup using cpanel.

   what could possibly have gone wrong

   A link to the site might give us a clue.

   Maybe the cache is messing with things?
   Try clearing it and/or disabling it.
