[Plugin: WordSocial] failed to open stream problem

    I have installed the wordsocial plugin and authorised the twitter account ok, but when I post on my WP the post is not tweeted and I get an error like:

    Warning: fopen(x_wso-lockfile-54.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/xxxxxxxxxxxxx/news/wp-content/plugins/wordsocial/wordsocial.php on line 253

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxxxxxxxxxxxx/news/wp-content/plugins/wordsocial/wordsocial.php:253) in /home/xxxxxxxxxxxxx/news/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 897

    Search the file x_wso-lockfile-54.txt in your wp-admin folder (I think it’s into that folder) and delete it.

    I’m working on the next release of the plugin and I think I’ll change the way I lock the process (to avoid publish several times the same thing because 2 visitors visits the website at the same time).

    hi there, cheers ofr the reply – unfortunately, that file was nowhere to be found on the server. Oh, and sorry, not sure how I managed to make the mistake but the file that was not found was _wso-lockfile-54.txt and not x_wso-lockfile-54.txt – either way, i couldnt find it on the server in any of the folders.

    UPDATE: I have it working now – I had to change the permissions on the wp_admin folder to 0777.

    hmm Thanks for the permissions 😉

    I’ll change the folder to use the plugin folder, and set a 0755 permissions on it. It should be fine for everyone 🙂

    Site was on a windows server at Godaddy, I moved it to a linux server at godaddy. We are now getting the followiing error at the top of our pages:

    Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/var/chroot/home/content/11/5808711/tmp/sess_df0b7dcaiqv44pcp32q4h6up55, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /home/content/11/5808711/html/wp-content/plugins/wordsocial/wso_config.php on line 18
