How Important Are Post Tags?

    I take great care to categorize my posts but I rarely use tags. Should I use them more? What is their importance?

    I just use them as another way to categorise posts. For example, when I make a music review, the catogory will be style of music, while the tags artist and label names. In my articles section I hardly use tags, since the categories already are the subjects and there is no need to connect different articles in another way.
