Funkiness with some characters with editing templa

    (again – please forgive me if I’m posting in the wrong area)
    I’m using the beta from 5/20 (tha’ts RC2?) and noticed some really weird stuff going on with the edit templates. It can’t seem to handle special characters (even if they’re in ascii).
    For example – I wanted to edit a file that had » in it (in case that doens’t show up – that was AMPERSANDraguoSEMICOLON) – I had it in my original file as the ascii equivalent, but when I saved the template through WordPress, 1) it did something crazy with all the line breaks (basically I had clean formatted code, and it broke all my formatting) 2) those ascii characters got lost and gibberish was in its place.
    Let me know if you need more info than that…

    i’m experiencing same stuff when i”m trying to edit posts that were written in hebrew. no problem in writing the post, but when going back to edit it- i get a bunch of escaped character codes.
    anyone knows what’s happening?
