[Plugin: Relevanssi – A Better Search] Different Results between Dev & Production

First off, this is an excellent plugin.

We have a production and development version of our site. They both have the same plugins and the same version of WordPress. We recently refreshed our development site with our production database a month or so ago. So, Dev now has 465 documents – Production has 484.

When I compare the results for the same searches, they are different. In fact, the development site has even better results (ie. Pages are showing up higher in results than posts). The posts that show up higher on production are also on development, so it’s not a case of newer material messing up the results.

I’ve compared the Relevanssi settings on both servers and they are identical. Any idea why the results are somewhat different? Or, more specifically, the weighing of the results different?
