• Denis,

I’ve been trying to make a podcast on my site. I currently have semiologic installed. It seems to be interfering with wordpress features that allow podcasting.

I set up a test wordpress site and it worked fine before I added semiologic. I added semiologic to it and the podcasts stopped loading. Even if I have all the semiologic related plugins deactivated it doesn’t work.

  • jfowler,

I would be very interested in his reply about this, however, I do not think you will get one from him here, just fyi. He did say he may set up some kind of support at his web site, have not checked there, so you may want to check that out.

Didn’t you also change WP versions? My plugins are — quite literally — non-intrusive and leave WP work normally. I have heard of users getting issues with WP2 and enclosures, that said.

    Denis,

I have it working now. I had a couple of issues. At first I did not link the right directory (duh) and then I entered the link by hand rather than copying the link location and pasting. I didn’t think it would matter, but when I copied the link location, the RSS formated correctly. It works great now.

Thankfully, I have not yet upgraded this site to WP2 yet. I am currently running a test site with WP2 and Semiologic on it. I want to avoid bugs if at all possible.

BTW, I am probably going to be developing a blog soon that might be able to send you some business. Would you be interested in doing a short interview about your product via email that I could post?

    Thanks,
    jfowler

sure thing — just send me an email.
